Custom Pool Builder in Scottsdale, AZ

Scottsdale is where our most finished backyards are. Five Scottsdale builds are below, and every one of them is a full outdoor living space rather than a pool dropped into a lawn.

Envy Pools is family owned, veteran owned, and has been designing and building custom pools across the Valley since 2018.

What We Build in Scottsdale

Our Scottsdale work has a clear signature, and it is not the pool shape.

  • An outdoor kitchen in almost every build. Four of our five Scottsdale projects have one. It is the single most requested feature here.
  • Putting greens. 67th Street Manor, Tarantini Lane and Turquoise Avenue all have one. Nowhere else in the Valley do we build them at this rate.
  • Negative edges where the view earns it. 67th Street Manor and 70th Street both use one.
  • Shade you can actually use. Pergolas on four of five, because a Scottsdale backyard that only works after sunset is a wasted backyard.
  • Sunken lounges and spas built into the pool rather than bolted beside it. Turquoise Avenue shows the approach.

Building a Pool in Scottsdale: What to Expect

Pools are permitted through the City of Scottsdale and we pull the permit as part of your build, then schedule around the City inspection sequence.

Two Scottsdale specifics. First, many Scottsdale neighborhoods have an active architectural committee, and in the hillside and view corridor areas the review is genuinely strict. That approval is yours to request, and it can be the longest item on the calendar, so start it before anything else. We provide the plans and renderings.

Second, a lot of Scottsdale housing stock is older than the East Valley, which means mature landscaping, established trees and utilities that are not always where the plans say. We look for that on the first visit rather than finding it with an excavator.

Our Design and Build Process

Every project runs the same way, whether it is a plunge pool or a full outdoor living build.

  1. Consultation at your home. We walk the yard, check access, note drainage and sun, and talk through how you actually plan to use the space.
  2. 3D design. You see the pool in your own backyard before anything is signed, and we revise until it is right.
  3. Permitting. We pull the permit and keep you posted on where it stands. If your neighborhood needs architectural approval, we hand you the drawings to submit.
  4. Construction. Excavation through plaster, with your project manager as one point of contact rather than a rotating cast.
  5. Startup and handoff. We walk you through the equipment and the first month of chemistry so you are not guessing.

Why Scottsdale Homeowners Choose Envy Pools

We are a small, family owned company by design, roughly ten people, so the person who designs your pool is still involved when it is being built. The five Scottsdale backyards above are the evidence.

If you are in Scottsdale and thinking about a pool, an outdoor kitchen, a putting green, or all three, we would rather walk your yard than send you a brochure.
