Custom Pool Builder in Paradise Valley, AZ

Paradise Valley is the smallest and most demanding market we build in. The project below, Joshua Tree, is a negative edge build on a view lot and it is a fair representation of what a Paradise Valley backyard asks for.

Envy Pools is family owned, veteran owned, and has been designing and building custom pools across the Valley since 2018.

What We Build in Paradise Valley

Joshua Tree covers what this market wants, and it is a different brief from the East Valley.

  • A negative edge, used properly. On a Paradise Valley lot the view is the asset and the pool edge should disappear into it.
  • Fire and water in the same sightline, so the backyard reads at night as well as at noon.
  • An outdoor kitchen and full transformation scope, because at this level the pool is one part of an outdoor room, not the whole job.
  • Restraint in the materials. The house and the mountain are the subject. The pool should not compete.

Building a Pool in Paradise Valley: What to Expect

Pools are permitted through the Town of Paradise Valley. Plan on a longer front end here than anywhere else we work. Paradise Valley reviews residential work closely, and hillside properties carry additional requirements, so the design and approval phase is a real part of the schedule rather than a formality.

Two things to plan around. First, lot slope and view corridors drive the design more than square footage does. Second, access on a large hillside lot is not automatically easy, and getting equipment to the pool location is worth settling before the design is final rather than after.

If your property has an architectural committee in addition to Town review, that approval is yours to request. We provide the plans and 3D renderings.

Our Design and Build Process

Every project runs the same way, whether it is a plunge pool or a full outdoor living build.

  1. Consultation at your home. We walk the yard, check access, note drainage and sun, and talk through how you actually plan to use the space.
  2. 3D design. You see the pool in your own backyard before anything is signed, and we revise until it is right.
  3. Permitting. We pull the permit and keep you posted on where it stands. If your neighborhood needs architectural approval, we hand you the drawings to submit.
  4. Construction. Excavation through plaster, with your project manager as one point of contact rather than a rotating cast.
  5. Startup and handoff. We walk you through the equipment and the first month of chemistry so you are not guessing.

Why Paradise Valley Homeowners Choose Envy Pools

We are a small, family owned company by design, roughly ten people. The person who designs your pool is still involved while it is being built, which matters more on a project of this size, not less.

If you are in Paradise Valley and considering a pool or a full outdoor living build, we would rather walk your property than send you a brochure.
