What We Build in Queen Creek

Queen Creek splits into two very different jobs, and the portfolio shows both.

  • Negative edge pools on the big lots. When the land falls away or backs to open desert, a vanishing edge is worth the money. 196th Place, 205th Way, Raven Court and Raven Drive all use one.
  • Full outdoor living, not just a pool. Outdoor kitchens and pergolas show up in most of our Queen Creek work, because the lots are big enough to hold them. See 205th Way and Paoli Street.
  • Sport courts. Space that would be wasted side yard elsewhere becomes a court here. 196th Place and Paoli Street both have one.
  • Sunken seating and swim-up areas, which read better on a wide lot than a narrow one. 196th Place is the clearest example.
  • Small backyard solutions for the newer subdivisions, where the whole yard is the pool. Mockingbird Drive and Raven Court show what fits.

Building a Pool in Queen Creek: What to Expect

Inside town limits, pools are permitted through the Town of Queen Creek, and we pull the permit as part of your build. Some Queen Creek addresses are actually in the county, which changes who issues it, and we confirm that on the first visit. The Town runs its own inspection sequence and we schedule around it so the job keeps moving.

Two things worth planning around. First, a lot of Queen Creek is newer master planned development with an architectural committee that reviews backyard work. That approval is yours to request, not ours, and it runs on its own timeline, so start it early. We give you the plans and 3D renderings to submit.

Second, lot size drives everything here more than in any other city we work in. On an acre lot the question is what to put in the space. On a 6,000 square foot lot it is what to leave out. We tell you which conversation you are having on the first visit.

Our Design and Build Process

Every project runs the same way, whether it is a plunge pool or a full outdoor living build.

  1. Consultation at your home. We walk the yard, check access, note drainage and sun, and talk through how you actually plan to use the space.
  2. 3D design. You see the pool in your own backyard before anything is signed, and we revise until it is right.
  3. Permitting. We pull the permit and keep you posted on where it stands. If your neighborhood needs architectural approval, we hand you the drawings to submit.
  4. Construction. Excavation through plaster, with your project manager as one point of contact rather than a rotating cast.
  5. Startup and handoff. We walk you through the equipment and the first month of chemistry so you are not guessing.

Why Queen Creek Homeowners Choose Envy Pools

We are about ten people, which means the person who designs your pool is still involved while it is being built. The eleven Queen Creek backyards above are the evidence.

If you are in Queen Creek and thinking about a pool, an outdoor kitchen, a pergola, or all three, we would rather walk your yard than send you a brochure.

Queen Creek Pool Questions

How much does a custom pool cost in Queen Creek?

Most of our pool and spa combinations start around $100k, and full outdoor living builds with kitchens, pergolas and fire features go well beyond that. Size, features, access and finishes all move the number. You get a real price after the consultation and 3D design, not a guess over the phone.

How long does it take to build a pool in Queen Creek?

It depends on permitting, HOA review and the scope of the build. Our Arizona pool build timeline walks through each phase, and you get a schedule for your own project before construction starts.

My address says Queen Creek. Who issues my pool permit?

It depends on whether you are inside town limits. Some addresses in the 85140, 85143 and 85212 ZIP codes say Queen Creek but sit in unincorporated Maricopa or Pinal County, and then the county issues the permit instead of the Town. We confirm which applies on the first visit and pull the permit from the right office as part of your build.

Do you offer pool financing?

Yes. See our financing options.

Do you build on large lots?

Often. Several of our Queen Creek projects sit on big lots with outdoor kitchens, pergolas, sport courts and negative edge pools. We also build on smaller lots in the newer subdivisions, where the job is fitting the most into the space.

How far are you from Queen Creek?

We are based in Gilbert, a short drive away, and we build across the East Valley. See our Gilbert pools here. Every consultation happens at your home.
